Stafford Rangers boss Neil Kitching was delighted with his side’s victory in the FA Trophy as they thrashed St.Ives Town 6-0 at Marston Road.

Two goals from debutant Massiah McDonald as well as strikes from Kieran Morris, Louis Briscoe, Richard Gregory and Dan Westwood saw the Boro progress into the 2nd Qualifying round of the Trophy.


Despite a spirited performance, Tamworth went down 2-0 at Wrexham.

Goals from Andy Bishop and Johnny Hunt sealed the Lambs’ fate at a cold Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium. However, the 23 Tamworth fans did have something to cheer about when Cameron Belford saved from Andy Bishop’s penalty.
