Firefighters are investigating a “suspicious” house fire they tackled in Burslem this morning.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service are investigating the fire which happened on Crossley Road after a call at 7.26am.
The blaze started in the bedroom of an uninhabited house.
Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service Investigation Officer, Carl Mason said: “At this time we don’t know the cause.
“We’re treating it as suspicious at this time until the investigation shows otherwise.”
