Co-owners Michelle and Darren Matthews decided to bring the magical wonder of Winter Wonderland back to their home town of Stoke 3 years ago.
Set up in Birch Terrace car park in Hanley, the festive themed park is open every evening from 3pm (not including Christmas) through until the 6th January 2019.
Prepare to be greeted by an assortment of wooden chalets serving up all sorts of tempting treats. Freshly prepared hot dogs, burgers, and chips, succulent Bavarian sausages on an open swing grill and roast pork.
Indulge your sweet tooth and pick from a selection of treats to run under the chocolate fountain. Then watch crepes made in front of your very eyes or dig into the pick and mix. Enjoy teas, coffees and Belgian hot chocolate or take a break with a warm glass of mulled wine in the Bavarian Bar called The Wild Boar.
Santa will be in his log cabin every day on the run up to Christmas. The little ones can come and tell their Christmas wishes and receive a gift in return.
For the younger generation there is a selection of carnival games, a Christmas train ride, a beautiful merry-go-round. But if thrills are what you’re after, Join the cues for the full-size rollercoaster and 60m high sky swing amongst a range of gravity defying rides.
The full-size ice rink has been modified this year with a canopy to allow use during bad weather.
“This enables people to pre-book skating because no matter what the weather is it will be open. They’ll be able to come and skate in the dry. It’s also open air so they haven’t lost the feel of being outdoors” Michelle explains.
As it gets closer to Christmas the rink will become home to a number of Hit-Max live events. A range of DJ’s and artists will make your experience a night to remember.
Heading towards the new year, join in the biggest new years celebration in stoke. With fire works galore, a host of family attractions and live entertainment.
“We have unlimited riding wristbands. For a set price people can come here and know what there gonna spend. £14.99 gets them on all the rides for four hours”.
