Police appeal for witnesses after Meir firearm incident

Detectives from Staffordshire Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses in relation to a firearms incident in Meir, Stoke-on-Trent.

On November 5, at around 8pm a firearm was fired at a house on Mollison Road.

Several arrests have been made following the incident and police have released CCTV images of the suspects.

Detective Inspector Adrian Webb, from CID North, said; “Staffordshire Police has taken this incident extremely seriously.

“We have made several arrests and executed three search warrants using specialist teams to examine homes and open areas.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have knowledge of the incident or who knows the suspect.

“We know the scooter travelled along Grangewood Road, Ryder Road and Crestfield Road following the incident.”

Police are appealing for anyone with dash cam footage from cars in the area at the time.
