Tamworth Castle is opening its gates tomorrow for a week of haunted fun for the whole family to enjoy with a special Children’s Halloween Evening on October 27th 2018.
The event encourages children of all ages to wear their spookiest costumes and roam the castle halls with a free pumpkin lantern.
Cllr John Chesworth, Cabinet member for Culture and Operational Services says,
“Tamworth Castle is the perfect setting for a spooky Halloween experience.
The Castle offers something for all ages, from activities during the daytime, to a special family evening of spooky dressing up and pumpkin carving.”
Admission for the Halloween evening is priced at £8 for adults, £6.50 for seniors and £6 for children aged three and over. Children will receive a free pumpkin lantern to help light the dark and spooky halls of the castle. Apart from children who are under two get in free of charge but without a pumpkin lantern.
Pre-booking for this event is essential for time slots between 5pm and 8pm.
For the older ghost hunters, Tamworth’s famous Haunted Castle event is also set to return between the 28th of October and the 2nd of November for a full week of Halloween fun.
Explore the halls of the castle and see the many ghosts and characters that lurk around the corners. You can also take part in the many activities the tour has to offer, maybe even spotting some resident ghosts that haunt the halls.
No pre-booking is required for the Haunted Castle event and normal Castle admission prices apply.
