Man, 24, dies after motorbike accident in Newcastle


Staffordshire Police have today named a man who died in a motorbike accident in Newcastle.

Jack Crosby, from Newcastle, died on Monday evening (April 2) after an accident involving his motorbike and a car.

The 24-year-old was confirmed dead at the Royal Stoke University Hospital as a result of his injuries.

Officers were called to the incident on Omre Road, Newcastle-under-Lyme, at around 1.35pm on Sunday (April 1).

The accident involed a red and white Honda motorbike and a red MG6.

Jack’s family are being supported by specialist officers from the Central Motorway Police Group Family Liaison Team.

The family have also asked for their privacy to be respected during this time.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision to come forward.
