Stoke Potters’ first home meeting of the season against Coventry Bees has been postponed due to a waterlogged track.
Following rain from this morning and more expected overnight, the decision was made to call the match off against The Bees with little hope of the track recovering.
This postponement comes after months of frustration for the Newcastle-under-Lyme based side after having several ties called off last season at Loomer Road.
It was the only weekend’s National Trophy fixture with Plymouth Devils facing Eastbourne Eagles tonight as the Potters’ next fixture comes at Buxton on Sunday.
Elsewhere around the area, Coventry host Eastbourne on Sunday and Wolverhampton entertain Rye House.
