The Easter holidays are fast approaching and we’re sure you’ve already bought your eggs by now. That means that it’s time to start planning some days out! Here are our top picks of events for all of the family:

Easter Eggstravaganza @ Trentham Monkey Forest, Trentham

Saturday 24th March – Sunday 15th April, 10am – 4pm

Spend the day with the monkeys while searching for the hidden eggs. Face painting will also be available at weekends for an extra charge and other events at Trentham will take place throughout the week.

Easter Eggstravaganza @ National Forest Adventure Farm, Burton-upon-Trent

Monday 26th March – Wednesday 11th April, 10am – 6pm

As well as all of the usual farm fun, visitors can board the Easter Eggspress to search for the Easter Bunny, feed the lambs and much more!

Easter Trail @ Trentham Gardens, Trentham

Friday 30th March – Monday 2nd April, 10am – 4pm

Follow the Easter trails through the Gardens and collect a special prize once you’ve solved the clues! This event offers something for all of the family and will guarantee some great photo opportunities.

Easter Fun on the Farm @ Lower Drayton Farm, Penkridge

Friday 30th March – Wednesday 11th April, 10am – 4pm

Over the Easter period, Lower Drayton Farm are hosting a wide range of activities which are taking place every day. Activities include; an Easter egg trail, egg and spoon races, arts and crafts. There’s even an opportunity to feed the lambs!

Nickelodeon Slime Time @ intu Potteries, Hanley

Friday 30th March, all day

Expect lots and lots of slime at this free event. Kids aged 6-12 can book a time slot to be slimed in the famous Nickelodeon Slime-ulator. Outside of the slime tank, there will be other slime-themed activities such as make your own slime and temporary slime tattoos!

Wildfamilies Explore @ Wolseley Centre, near Rugeley

Wednesday 4th April, 10am – 12pm

This event ensures fun for all the family with scavenger hunts, trails and much more.

Tickets are £5 for a child, then £3 per additional sibling

Easter Bunny’s Eggs Factor @ Mitchell Arts Centre, Hanley

Sunday 8th April, 1.30pm – 2.30pm

This family show is aimed at two to seven year olds. Sing along to children’s favourites such as ‘Jack and Jill’ and ‘The Hokey Cokey’, as you help the stars of the show practice for the Eggs Factor.

Tickets: Adult £9.50, Children £8.50, Family (2 adults, 2 children) £30.

Ticket prices include a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny and a special Easter treat!

Wildplay @ Gradbach Mill, Gradbach

Monday 9th April, 10am – 12pm

Children aged 8 – 13 can join in on a woodland adventure. The session will include exploring the woods, building dens and lighting a campfire. Wrap up warm and bring some snacks!

This is a free event but booking in advance is necessary.

Decorate a Fabergé Egg @ Gladstone Pottery Museum, Longton

Wednesday 11th April, 11am – 3pm

Suitable for all ages, this drop-in craft session allows you to decorate and take home your own jewelled Easter egg.

Entry to this event is included in the museum admission fee: Adult £7.50, Children (4-16 years) £5.25, Concessions £6, Family (2 adults, 2 children) £22
