Police are appealing for information after a burglary at Moorpark Junior School in Burslem.
Offenders smashed a window before entering the building.
A number of laptops were taken and damage was caused to school premises.
Chief Inspector John Owen said: “Offences like this have cause havoc to the education of our young people.”
Police are appealing for any information on the incident which took place in the early hours on February 3.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
Police are asking for anyone with information relating to the incident to contact them on 101 and quote the incident number 149 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
