The Festival of Fizz is holding its first ever event in Stoke-on-Trent at the Jubilee Hall this month, and it’s the perfect opportunity for fizz lovers to be able to try out the very best prosecco, champagne and cocktails.
There will be more than 50 types of fizz on offer, as well as ten prosecco-based cocktails such as Chambord Royale and Bellini’s, for festival-goers to enjoy.
As prosecco grows in popularity, these kind of events are spreading all over the country.
Prosecco is well and truly on its way to overtake champagne when it comes to the most popular choice of bubbled beverage. But why has prosecco become so popular?
It is a cheaper alternative to champagne and is very much ‘on-trend’ at the moment, so head down to Stoke to see where this fizz frenzy has come from!
Tickets cost £17.95, but include £10 worth of Fizz vouchers to spend on the night, a champagne flute and a booklet with all of the drink options.
There will also be live entertainment, table popcorn and food to purchase, to accompany the drinks.
The event is being organised by local man, Andrew Wilson, who also owns Old School Wines at Tittensor, and has previously organised Gin Jamboree for the last three years.
Festival of Fizz is being held at Jubilee Hall on Glebe Street in Stoke on Friday, February 23 from 6.30pm to 11.30pm.
The event is strictly for over-18s only and ID will need to be provided.
