Those arrested included a 26-year-old man who failed to appear in court, a 58-year-old man arrested on suspicion of possession of class A drugs with the intent to supply and a 51-year-old man arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs and abstracting electricity.
Further arrests included a 50-year old man arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A/B drugs, a 39-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of supplying Class A and abstracting electricity and a 35-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.
Chief Inspector, John Owen, Commander for Stoke North Local Policing Team, said: “Today’s operation has been a huge success.
“We have arrested people for supplying drugs, for failing to appear in court and seized large quantities of drugs.
“By the end of the week, utilising anti-social behaviour legislation we will have closed two of the properties.
“We hope this action will restore some sense of normality to the lives of local residents and we’ll be meeting them tomorrow to discuss how we will continue to work together along with partner agencies and local landlords to combat drugs and criminality in our community.”
