Winter Wonderland 2017 has touched down in Stoke-On-Trent for the second year running, tying in with the Christmas lights launch that took place yesterday (16 November) in Hanley.
The popular Christmas event was opened in the afternoon by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of the city.
The event is a bigger affair this year, with the space being extended to make space for more wooden huts as there is a new Christmas market.
There will be a range of different things to do, including the Signal 1 Ice Rink, Santa’s Grotto, Swing Grill and a Bavarian style bar.
There is also different fun fair rides such as a 60m Swing Attraction, which lights up the Hanley in the dark.
The food served at the event this year is very much Christmas orientated with Bavarian style sausages, mulled wine and slow roast ham.
Customers can also get their hands on homemade fudge and a range of sweets and chocolates for stocking fillers.
Entry to Winter Wonderland is free for everyone, customers just have to buy tokens once inside to make use of the rides. Most of the rides start at £2.
A full line up can be accessed on the website.
During term time, Winter Wonderland will be open from 12 noon until 10pm, with times varying on the days around Christmas.
Winter Wonderland will be running from 16 November to 2 January.
