A vet in Alsager has achieved an Outstanding award from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) practice standards scheme.
Alsager Vet Centre, on Crewe Road, has been given the award for client service, with one of the highest scores they have ever been awarded.
The RCVS awards help owners to identify the areas in which each practice excels, which allows customers to choose the right veterinary surgery for their needs.
The awards work like an accreditation, with the RCVS re-assessing the practice every 4 years to ensure that they are meeting the requirements of the awards, on top of the initial assessment.
Veterinary surgeon and branch partner, Gill White said “We are very proud to receive the award. All the team at Alsager Vet Centre work hard to ensure that we provide outstanding care to patients, but we also understand the importance of listening to our clients and acting on any feedback that we receive.”
For clients that use the vet centre, the award means they can be assured that the service the vet centre provides will be the best service possible.
Pet owners should choose a RCVS accredited surgery as their aim is to safeguard the interests of animals and their owners, ensuring that surgeries that are not registered with them cannot carry out acts of veterinary surgery.
