Two men and a youth arrested on M6 in Staffordshire


Two men and a youth have been arrested on the M6 in Staffordshire.

Two men, aged 18, and a youth, aged 17 were arrested on suspicion of theft and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

The 17-year-old was also arrested on suspicion of possessing a sharp or bladed article.

A Ford Fiesta, that was reported stolen, was stopped by police using a stinger device around 3.20pm on October 13 between Stafford services and junction 15 on the northbound M6.

All three arrested have been released without charge pending an investigaton.
