Michael Brown has been appointed as manager at Port Vale after their relegation to League Two.
Brown has been caretaker boss at the club since December and has been favourite to get the job since Bruno Ribeiro resigned.
Vale have also appointed David Kelly and Chris Morgan as assistants at this testing time for the club.
The team were relegated to league two on Sunday after a match against Fleetwood.
Port Vale CEO, Colin Garlick, commented: “The appointment of a manager is in my opinion the single most important decision that a club ever makes, we believe that it is important for us, at this time, to confirm Michaels appointment along with his backroom staff to allow them the maximum time to prepare for the new season.
“I very much look forward to continuing to work with Michael and his staff as we look to prepare for the challenge ahead.”
