Singer songwriter Amy G is set to perform at Stafford’s Royal Oak on April 28.
Amy, from Wolverhampton, embarked on her professional career in her teens.
She has now become one of the most sought-after vocalists in the Midlands.
This year, Amy’s career has taken the next step as she sang in the Barclaycard Arena foyer for big names such as Drake and The Weeknd.
She is a household name in the Midlands and is known for her energetic and engaging stage presence.
The musical theatre student is in her third year at university and is currently juggling her country-wide gigs with her dissertation.
Amy G told StaffsLive: “My sound is soulful with influences from stars such as Whitney Houston, I take those powerful vocals and make them fit into a more modern setting, vocalising genres such as house.
“I’m so proud to have headlined Wolverhampton’s Christmas lights and bonfire night which saw over 15,000 people attend, and to do it in your hometown was so thrilling.
“I have nights all over the country but I’m really looking forward to Stafford at the end of this month, I have performed there a few times and they definitely know how to have a good time!
“It’s going to be a busy summer for me as I’ve got my first booking at a holiday park and a cruise at the end of the year.
“My new single was created through university connections due to them using my brand for a social media marketing campaign.
“I’m working with producer Ryan Dawe and our new track fits into the tropical house genre, you can head over to my Instagram @amygofficialxo to hear a snippet!”
The Stafford performance starts at 9pm and is free entry.
Amy G’s new single will be out on Friday (April 21) via digital media stores.
