Port Vale are seeking a fourth straight victory when hosting Scunthorpe in League One.
Vale sit 11th, though a three-goal victory would take them above visitors Scunthorpe, who are currently 8th.
With just two games left Vale are targeting a top-ten finish this season, providing a foundation for a promotion push in the 2016-17 campaign.
Tomorrow (April 30) the Valiants could be without top-scorer Ajay Leitch-Smith, who has 12 goals in all competitions this season.
Vale will also be without striker Louis Dodds and midfielder Anthony Grant for the rest of this season, due to injury and suspension respectively.
Port Vale have had a significant upturn in form, claiming victory in their last three matches.
That came after a four-game winless streak which left the play-offs all but out of reach for this season.
However, manager Rob Page says he is pleased with the season’s efforts regardless of this.
“We’ve given ourselves a chance, it’s still mathematically possible but we do need a lot of luck to go for this,” he said.
“We’ll keep pushing and to have two games left and still be in with a shout, and of reaching that 70 point mark, is a credit to us.”
Vale travel to League One leaders Wigan Athletic on the final day of the season.
