Bonfire night festivities lit up the skies with a spectacular firework display.
The annual event organised by Stoke-on-Trent Lions attracts hundreds of people from all over Staffordshire to Fenton Park.
The 20-minute display across the misty night brought on cheers of ‘ooo’, ‘eee’ and ‘ahhh’ to a banging soundtrack.
Stanworth’s Fun Fair provided amusement with their rides and there was also a range of hot food and sweets for sale to tempt the revelers.
Jessica Randfield, 20, said: “I come here every year and love it, it’s the best bonfire night celebrations, the firework display seems to be getting better every year.
“You get more than just fireworks, you also get the rides and food.
“The night isn’t complete without a game of hook a duck and a hot dog.”
John Howard, 47, said: “It’s a family tradition to come here. We always come here with the kids even now they’re growing up.
Kiran Raulia, 20, said: “There is a really nice family orientated atmosphere with a lot of students and kids, a lot of final year students because it’s their last year in Stoke.”
Kiran’s only complaint was the length of the queue for the ever popular doughnuts.
