Stoke-on-Trent based band In The Cards are set to perform tonight at The Sugarmill in support of US act Metro Station.
The Birches Head group are known for their alternative music and are swiftly rising through the ranks in the local scene.
It is a huge opportunity for In The Cards as Metro Station have had a Top Ten hit in the Billboard Chart and founding member Trace Cyrus is the brother of Miley Cyrus and the son of Billy Ray Cyrus.
In The Cards formed in 2010 featuring members Amy Colclough, 20, lead vocals, Danny Jones, 20, lead guitar and vocals, Conor Chambers, 19, on drums, Jacky Hui, 19, on keyboards and bassist Nathan Petherick.
The band have been praised for their talent right from the start after receiving an outstanding achievement award from the City of Stoke-on-Trent in 2011.
Conor Chambers said: “Being selected to play with such a recognised band as Metro Station is not only thrilling, but affirms that we are travelling in the right direction with our music and towards our own aspirations in the business”.
