Staffordshire University students create Movember portraits

A group of Staffordshire University Illustration students hosted a fundraiser in aid of Movember by creating portraits of people with a moustachioed makeover.

People could raise money for Movember by donating cash for a Mo’trait – portraits made with the addition of a fancy moustache.

Movember is a charity created in Australia in 2003 which aims to raise money and awareness of men’s health.

Senior lecturer Laura Weston, who helped organise the event, said: “It’s a fun way to tackle quite a serious subject that does need addressing.”

Staffordshire University’s Mo’trait gang reached their target of raising £50 within 2 hours and hopes to raise more.
