Leek Town boss Lee Caswell said he is anticipating a tough match in this weekend’s FA Trophy tie against Bedworth United.
The Warwickshire side are set to visit Harrison Park in the preliminary round of the competition on Saturday, October 18.
Caswell toldStaffsLive: “We are giving them all the respect but we are looking to win.
“It’s a difficult fixture.
“We have got all the players focusing on Bedworth United.”
The Blues have enjoyed a decent start to the season with only two defeats in 15 matches so far.
Caswell added: “I think we’ve had a good start to the season.
“It’s about the squad all doing well.
“We have a good squad.”
Leek Town president Andy Wain said the team can match last season’s effort.
He added: “There is no reason why we can’t go far.”
Evo Stik First Division rivals Newcastle Town also face a difficult task in the preliminary round as they face top of the table Sutton Coldfield Town.
Newcastle Town club official Ray Tatton said: “We know if we win tomorrow, we will face Norton United or Chasetown – two sides we can beat.
“There is nothing to say we can’t go four or five rounds.”
Sutton Coldfield won 2-0 at the Aspire stadium in September and Newcastle will be hoping to avenge that defeat.
Kidsgrove Athletic travel away to Loughborough Dynamo, knowing a win would bring a home tie against Grantham Town.
Norton United visit Chasetown with the prize of a home fixture against Newcastle Town or Sutton Coldfield.
Stafford Rangers also feature in the cup action as they face Rugby Town away.
All fixtures will be played on Saturday, October 18, at 3pm.
