Nantwich Town are facing a busy festive period as they look to boost their Evo-Stik Premier League position
The Dabbers currently sit in 16th place, eight points adrift from the play-off places.
However, boss Danny Johnson is hoping for positive results from their five fixtures during Christmas.
He told StaffsLive: “If we can go on a run and put seven or eight results together on the bounce then I think we’ve got a chance of getting into the top eight going into January and February, and then hopefully we’ve always got a chance.
“We’re not going to rule it out, but it’s not something that’s being talked about.
“We’ve just got to go about our business game by game and see where that takes us.
The Nantwich boss, who is in his first year in charge, expressed his desire to take the club forward.
“Everything about the place is geared up to progress and that matches my own ambitions.”
StaffsLive went down to the Weaver Stadium to gauge the mood.
