Nantwich Town boss Danny Johnson has maintained his side’s good form is not set to stop.
The Dabbers have won seven of their last eight games in all competitions, most recently beating Trafford 4-0 in the Doodson Sport Cup.
Johnson said he is confident his side are not going to let it go their heads.
He told StaffsLive: “We’re on a good run and we want to maintain the good run.
“We’re not getting carried away with winning football matches. The lads aren’t jumping for joy in the changing room.
“As the old cliché goes, we’ll just take one game at a time.”
Nantwich Town travel to King’s Lynn Town on Saturday, December 7, looking for their fifth consecutive win.
Johnson added: “We’ve got a good squad with plenty of depth and hopefully we can just maintain what we’ve been doing.
“We’ll continue to work hard because that’s what we do. The players know we need to go and do a job on Saturday.
“We just work hard all over the pitch and make it hard for the opposition. And we’ll continue in that vein.”
After Saturday’s game, Nantwich will have played half of their fixtures in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League this season.
Town’s current form has seen them climb up the table and they now lie at 12th place and six points off of the play-offs.
Johnson said: “I’m not going to start talking about play-offs.
“We just want to finish as high as we can.”
