Tamworth FC face Bristol City in FA Cup second round

Tamworth FC’s reward for beating Cheltenham in the FA Cup first round is a plum tie with League One Bristol City.

Conference National team Tamworth are at home to a side two leagues above them in round two on December 7 or 8.

It’s great reward after Tamworth pulled off a shock 1-0 win over League Two Cheltenham on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Burton Albion will face League Two leaders Fleetwood Town away, after beating Hereford United 2-0 on Sunday.

If Crewe Alexandra overcome Wycombe in a replay, they will welcome fellow League One side Preston to Gresty Road in round two.

And Port Vale will entertain another non league side in Salisbury City at Vale Park in round two, if they can beat Shortwood United tonight (November 11).

All ties will be played on December 7 and 8.
