Midfielder Durrell scored from the penalty spot against Crawley, but it was not enough for Hednesford Town and they lost 2-1.

Durrell told StaffsLive: “We can take a lot out of the game – we really can.

“I think we gave a great account of ourselves against a good League One team.

“Crawley have had a bit of bad luck recently, not scoring and losing a couple of games.

“So we can take a lot out of the game and take it into the FA Trophy and into the league against Stockport.”

Durrell has been on fine form this season and knocked up his 20th goal against Crawley Town this season – his 100th goal for The Pitmen.

Elliott revealed how important it was for him to get on the score sheet and how good he was from 12 yards out.

He added: “I believe I am going to score every game.

“I have a good record with penalties. But, it is about the team and if I score for the team that’s the main thing. It is really good to get on the scoresheet every week, but mainly it is about the team.

“If the goals come and we keep winning, I am a happy man.”
