Cannock crash Porsche driver suffered heart attack


A Porsche driver, who died in a crash in Cannock, suffered a heart attack at the wheel.

George Taylor, 66, of Dorchester Road, Cannock, died after his Porsche Boxter careered off the road and into a ditch.

Post mortem tests found Mr Taylor died from natural causes. Staffordshire Police have said there will be no full inquest.

The silver Porsche collided with a green Citroen Picasso before plunging into the ditch on Wolverhampton Road, near junction 11 of the M6.

The occupants of the Picasso, a man and woman both aged 23, and a baby, from Cannock, were uninjured.

Mr Taylor leaves behind wife Anna, brother Keith, and sons Simon, 32, and Stephen, 30.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service, which will be held at 10am on the November 21, at Bushbury Crematorium Walsall.

Family will then greet friends at Cannock Cricket and Hockey club, in Chase Park.
