FA Cup: Hednesford Town face League One Crawley in first round


Hednesford Town will welcome League One Crawley Town to Keys Park in the first round of the FA Cup.

The Pitmen were drawn out to play the Sussex side at home by former Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier and ex Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour.

The two sides last met in 2004 in the Southern Premier league which Crawley won 6-1.

Port Vale will visit Aldershot Town or Shortwood United in the first round.

The two sides need a replay following yesterday’s 1-1 draw. The replay will take place on Tuesday at Aldershot.

Tamworth’s 4-1 win over Solihull Moors has seen them rewarded with the visit of League Two Cheltenham Town to The Lamb.

Burton Albion will welcome Hereford United to the Pirelli Stadium in the first round. The two sides last met in January 2012 at the Pirelli with Hereford winning 2-0 that day.

The Bulls now play their football in the Skrill Premier.

Crewe Alexandra will visit Wycombe Wanderers in the first round. Wanderers sit 12th in League Two on 20 points.
