Police hunt Stafford railway station bike thief


Stafford 2.jpgPolice have released CCTV images of a man linked to the theft of a bike at Stafford railway station.

The bike was secured to cycle racks at the station’s multi-storey car park.

Police believe it was stolen between 7am and 6.40pm on April 3.

PC Peter Mannington, of British Transport Police, said: “After reviewing CCTV images, I would now like to identify and speak to the man in these photographs.

“I believe he will have key information which can assist the investigation.”

The bike is described as a red and black Scot Voltage bicycle.

Anyone who knows the identity of the man, his current whereabouts, or any information related to the incident should contact the British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40.

Alternatively, they can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Those with information should quote the unique incident reference B4/WWA of 26/04/2013.
