Health Minister launches new NHS Trust in Stoke-on-Trent


The new Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Partnership NHS Trust has been officially launched by the Minister of State for Health at an event at Haywood Hospital in Burslem.

NHS staff from a range of services provided by the new Trust gathered to show off their work to Simon Burns MP, who was also given a short tour of some of the facilities during his visit.

The new Trust was set up back in September and has partnered with a number of local organisations.

After a buffet reception, there were speeches from Chairman of the new Trust Nigel Ratcliffe, County Councillor Matthew Ellis and Mr Burns, who praised the hard work of NHS staff and said he was “delighted” to officially launch the Trust:
