Lichfield preparing to welcome the Olympic flame
People living in Lichfield are getting ready to welcome the Olympic torch to the city.
The flame will arrive on June 30 when it makes the journey from the National Memorial Arboretum at Alrewas into the city.

Volunteers are being asked to come forward and help out when the Olympic torch visits Lichfield.
More than 60 people have already signed up, but more are needed ahead of the flame’s arrival on June 30.
