Players and coaching staff have rallied around Archer who broke both bones in his leg and dislocated his ankle seven minutes from the end of the game.

Staffordshire University’s Rugby Union Men’s 1st team booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Midlands Conference Cup with a comprehensive 22-0 victory over University of Warwick’s 2nds at the Sir Stanley Matthews Sports Centre.
It was revenge for Staffs, who lost 31-0 to Warwick in the league earlier this season, as they became the first side to defeat the Midlands 2A league leaders.
Teenage girl injured in rugby tackle in Burton
A teenage girl was flown by air ambulance to hospital after she was injured during a rugby game.
Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service arrived at Shobnall Fields Recreational Ground, Shobnall, near Burton-upon-Trent, just before 11:50am.
