People across Staffordshire will be getting their sparklers ready for Bonfire Night celebrations across the region.

Alton Towers hosts their annual display from this evening (November 2) until Sunday.

The park will remain open until 9pm over the three nights, but visitors are advised to pre-book tickets.

The Trentham Gardens along with the Rotary Clubs of North Staffordshire will be organising a bonfire and fireworks display tonight.

A firework spectacular is also taking place at Weston Park on Sunday.

The event will feature two displays and a fun fair. Gates open at 3pm and the bonfire is lit at 5pm.

The Uttoxeter Lions Club will be putting on bonfire and fireworks display tomorrow at the recreation ground at Uttoxeter Leisure Centre, starting at 7pm. Tickets are £5 on the gate.

Tamworth Castle’s display will have an historic feeling, with 17th Century characters mingling with the crowd. Gates open at 5.30pm on November 5, with free admission to the Castle grounds.
