Police name man found dead at V-Festival in Staffordshire

By StaffsLive Reporter: Police have named a man found dead at the V-Festival in Staffordshire.
The body of 22-year-old Timothy Brockhurst from Market Drayton was found in a tent in the early hours of yesterday morning (August 19).
The cause of his death remains unknown and a post-mortem will take place early next week, although detectives say they are not treating it as suspicious.
Supt Pete Owen said: “Organisers, emergency services and all those involved in the festival are saddened by Timothy’s death and our sympathies are with Timothy’s family and friends at this time.”
A spokesman for V-Festival added: “We are all very saddened by this tragic incident, and we want to extend our deepest sympathies to the family of this young man. Our team worked throughout the night to support those affected at the Festival site and we want to thank everyone for their cooperation and support during the incident.”
