Crewe Alexandra will take on Bolton Wanderers in their stand-out pre-season fixture.
Steve Davis’ men will be preparing for life in League One following their play-off victory, but will be without Nick Powell after he departed for Manchester United.
But a varied pre-season schedule has been drawn up to prepare the Railwaymen for the new campaign.
They start with a trip to Congleton on July 14 before fielding two sides on July 16 as a team travels to Quorn and another heads for Chasetown.
Other non-league opposition follows before the preparations step up with the visit of Championship side Bolton on July 28.
Huddersfield Town will then visit Crewe on August 1 before the pre-season is completed with the arrival of Barnsley on August 7.
