Two brothers charged in Tunstall assault probe
By Matt Cobb: Two brothers have been charged following an alleged assault in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent.
John Paul Maughan, 20, and his brother Patrick Maughan, 32, will appear at Fenton Magistrates to face charges of causing grevious bodily harm with intent.
The pair from St Helens, in Merseyside, were arrested yesterday (May 7) and remain in police custody.
An 18-year-old man suffered arm injuries during the alleged attack on Bank Street last Thursday (May 3).
The victim was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire and has since been released.
