Police and paramedics tried to save the 19-year-old, of Kentmere Place, when she was reported injured but was pronounced dead at the scene.

Moped rider killed in Lichfield crash is named
A man who died when his moped was hit by a lorry in Lichfield has been named.
Benjamin Warrington, 24 of Agincourt Road, Lichfield, was driving a white Yamaha 50cc moped on the A38, just north of the Streethay slip-road, at around 5.25am on Tuesday (February 21) when the crash happened.

A runner from Stoke-on-Trent is preparing to take on 12 half marathons in order to raise money for a Staffordshire children’s hospice
Phil Thomas, 36, from Etruria, will be raising money for the Donna Louise Trust – a cause he has helped before.
