By Lotti Blades-Barrett: Staffordshire University’s student radio station will be gaining national exposure when it features on Steve Lamacq’s BBC 6 Music Show.

Oliver Needham, who is the technical manager forĀ One Media Radio at Staffordshire University, will need to have his wits about him as he tries to answer as many questions as possible on the subject of university radio in the on air quiz.

If he is successful in toppling Cambridge University’s CAM fm top score and beating other institutions, the Staffordshire station will get a 90-second jingle on the BBC 6 Music website.

” I am extremely excited to be able to get One Media Radio some exposure,” Oliver said. ” It’s a great opportunity to get us recognised.”

Oliver will be on air at 5.25pm this evening (February 17) after his jingle impressed.

To find out how he gets on, tune in via the BBC 6 Music website.
