Motorcyclist dies in Stone crash

A motorcyclist has died after a crash in Stone.

A 32-year-old man lost control of his green Kawasaki bike at around 10.30am yesterday (December 29) on the B5066 Sandon Road, around 300 metres from the crossroads with the B5027 Uttoxeter Road.

The road was closed for one-and-a-half hours while emergency services dealt with the incident.

Any witnesses are asked to contact investigating officer Sgt Darren Burney at Staffordshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 191 of December 29.
