Hanley vigil planned as Stoke-on-Trent marks World AIDS Day
A vigil in Hanley is set to headline a series of events taking place across Stoke-on-Trent to mark World AIDS Day.
Readings, guest speakers and a lantern procession by a youth group will happen during the event, which starts at 5.30pm tomorrow (December 1) at Fountain Square.

Forty-year-old Gary Meacham, of Brownhills Road, Norton Canes, died when he white Ford Transit van was involved in the collision with a green Honda Civic car and a lorry on the A460 at Shareshill yesterday morning (November 29).
