CCTV footage of the man police want to speak to about an armed robbery in Biddulph

Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with an armed robbery in Biddulph.

A man entered the Premier Shop on St Johns Road at around 8.40pm on September 11 and threatened the shop assistant with a suspected firearm.

He demanded money but the shop assistant refused and he left, stealing a litre bottle of vodka.

The man is described as white and at least 5ft 7ins tall. He was wearing a dark green coat with the hood up and it had a small white motif on the left chest. He wore dark tracksuit bottoms and had a scarf covering the lower half of his face.
